Welcome to your new adventure at YaYa LaoShi's Chinese learning classroom! I am currently teaching Chinese in New Jersey. A little about my background: I received my master’s degree in urban education in 2013 and have been teaching Chinese for years. My specialty is helping beginning Chinese learners become fluent Chinese speakers. I have also participated in several professional teaching trainings and received certificates that have empowered my teaching methods and improved the learning experience for my students.
To further enhance my ability to teach Chinese to early childhood learners, I have started attending a master's program at Columbia University as a full-time student, focusing on bilingual childhood education. This helps me stay on top of industry best practices and current trends in the education of young students. This will be in addition to my two prior graduate degrees in business and education.
