The GERAS Centre (Geriatric Education and Research in Aging Sciences) is an academic teaching and research centre that strives to improve health outcomes for seniors and their caregivers. Researchers at GERAS have been leaders in frailty, falls, & fractures, dementia research, and guideline development both nationally and internationally. Furthermore, our successful researchers and staff have supported undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate student research excellence.
The GERAS Centre has three strategic directions that support our three overarching themes:
