The Hudson River Maritime Museum is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the maritime history of the Hudson River, its tributaries, and related industries.
Located on the historic Rondout waterfront, the Hudson River Maritime Museum was established in 1980 to collect, preserve, research, exhibit, and interpret a collection of historical artifacts related to the maritime heritage of the Hudson River and its tributaries. This is the only museum in New York State exclusively dedicated to this mission. In 2015, HRMM opened the Riverport Wooden Boat School, where young people and adults learn boatbuilding and woodworking skills. In 2017, HRMM opened the Riverport Sailing & Rowing School, where young people and adults learn sailing and rowing.
