"Prabh Aasra (Home for Destitute)", an NGO based in Pb,India. Working with the grace of God, our mission is to bring hope to a hurting world by working for the rehabilitation of physically/mentally handicapped destitute, providing treatment,care, education and homes for the abandoned. Residents at our facility comprise critically ill patients with severe trauma who have been discharged from hospitals without proper care and treatment, victims of rape and violence, pregnant ladies, mentally disabled persons and abandoned children & elderly.During last 10 years we have provided care and treatment to over 1,110 destitute and reunited 750 after tracing their families.We have 250 patients at our facility, whilst our capacity is ltd. to 150 pt.Institutions such as, hospitals, police, various govt. dept. specifically assigned to care and serve the people are absolving themselves of any resp. towards the destitute.
