About
Hi, we're Teresa and Dylan! This past winter we bought our 1988 Morgan Out Island Classic, Atlas, with little sailing experience. After purchasing our boat in January, we spent as many weekends as possible fixing and upgrading her so that she was ready to be relaunched in May. We're not sure how long she was sitting out of the water before we got her, but it was at least three years. After Atlas was back in the water we kept the boat in a marina so we could continue fixing her up and practice sailing. During that time we closed on our home, sold our car, and moved ourselves and our 3 pets onto the boat. After two months we finally decided to rip the band-aid off and set sail to head back towards home, which is the Chesapeake Bay.
