Brisbane Airport is the front door to Queensland and the third largest airport in Australia on passenger numbers, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is Australia's largest capital city airport (by land size), operating two major terminals which service 30 airlines flying to 79 destinations.
There is also more than 420 businesses located at the airport with a combined workforce of more than 19,000 people (similar to the total population of some of Australia's regional cities such as Armidale in Northern NSW). Workers at the airport are expected to grow to 50,000 by 2029.
Brisbane Airport is consistently recognised as a leading airport nationally and internationally and has been awarded Best Airport in Australia/Pacific 2016 & 2017 by SKYTRAX.
