Overtime Arcade is all about preserving the golden age of arcade video games, that special time in the 1980s when you could play all the latest hits for just 25 cents a pop. Follow along with Charlie as he grows and maintains his home arcade collection, repairing monitors, control panels, power supplies, logic boards, and restoring entire game cabinets.
If you’re interested in finding, fixing, and enjoying classic arcade machines from companies like Atari, Bally Midway, Namco, Nintendo, Sega, and Williams, then this channel is for you. Charlie’s no electronics expert, but he can show you what it takes to bring these vintage arcade games back to life and keep them running. And hopefully you’ll be able to learn from (and laugh at) all the mistakes he makes, too.
The current Overtime Arcade lineup down in the basement features Centipede, Donkey Kong, Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga, Robotron, and Tempest. Future restoration projects out in the garage will include Joust, Missile Command, and more.
