Formally known as Last Girl On Earth, Coastguard have established themselves as fan favourites within the thriving Cardiff music scene. The band formed in 2017 and comprises of front-woman Ines Duarte, guitarist Rhys Gittoes, bassist Dan Waggon and drummer Ben Morris. Once all students at Cardiff University, the band have grown and developed into a quartet of highly skilled performers, whilst developing their own unique, rich sound. In May 2019, the band released their first single, "Take Me For A Ride," a sanguine track, with a come-of-age narrative, destined to be the sound track of many road trips.
