We created this channel to open up our private world to the public. It's a journey of love and reward - when the trust, bond and friendship from a little bird can save a human soul from the depths of sadness. Smurf is the star and I'm just Nigel - I tag along.

We spend our time goofing around and bringing a little joy in to the world. We hope to share our madcap world with you the viewer.

Murphy a.k.a "The Smurf" or "Smurfy" Williams is my eight year old Congo African Grey Parrot. She's an adorable female with a boys name.

She got her name from the girl in the film Intersteller.

She was born in Gloucester, England from generationally captive bred birds.

And me? I'm a 50 year old fool from beautiful Chichester in England. I love animals and prefer to spend my time with them. I drink cider, watch sport, grow hydrangea and avoid humans!
