The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) serves three primary roles: presenter of artistic programming, national leader in the fields of education, entertainment and community engagement, and manager of the SNFCC campus.
A presenter of hundreds of events, performances, screenings, exhibitions, tours, educational and wellness activities since the launch of its operation, the SNFCC is an urban, multifunctional complex of creativity, culture and recreation. As manager of the SNFCC campus, it provides support and services for the National Library of Greece, the Greek National Opera (both to relocate to their new premises at the SNFCC in Fall 2017) and the Stavros Niarchos Park.
The SNFCC was conceived and developed through an exclusive grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF), and designed by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop. The SNFCC will be donated by the SNF to the Greek State.
