In 2010 I collaborated with Gordon Raphael The Producer of the Strokes with real time video performance now for the first time , we join our creative skills and inspirations to project an acid junk film presentation to over a hundred songs GORDON produced and composed himself as a multi instrumentalist and vocalist over a vessel of music genres and styles from opera rock to electronic rock sharing both our collaborative artistic genius to bring you our audience a short experimental film approach to music video art .
In 2013 the idea of music video came across to me as eureka when i label it junk film and acid film either non objective non representational and or abstract, non narrative or highly subjective made for a pop audience emerging from underground electronic gurus of noise from bands like Skinny Puppy ,Frank Zapa, The Strokes, Jimmy Hendrix and the Doors. In a junk film manifesto i wrote I claim that music video is anti art junk art film having a junk film aesthetic.
