We are a mother and daughter duo wanting to raise awareness about Aphasia. Jan had a stroke in 2005 that has caused a communication disorder called Aphasia. Jan has an brilliant spirit and sense of humour, she wants to show how she deals with the challenges she faces and hopes to raise awareness. Her daughter Carly has a career in stroke support and is incredibly passionate about raising awareness around Aphasia, especially helping people to understand how to have supportive conversations 💜
