The Icelandic band Mono Town released their second album. Time Vol. I on September 24th 2021.
Time Vol. I has already been deemed as one of the album of the year 2021.
Their debut album, In The Eye Of The Storm, was released in 2014 containing 11 tracks, mixed by Grammy Award winner Michael Brauer.
Mono Town´s first studio album, debuted 4 songs atop the Icelandic National Radio station including a six week period number one for the song Peacemaker leading to winning song of the year and album of the year at the Icelandic Music Awards in 2015.
In 2013, Deezer announced that it was sponsoring the band for an international launch. Mono Town performed at the inaugural All Tomorrow's Parties in Iceland supporting Nick Cave and gained further international attention through being featured on the influential avant-garde American radio station KEXP, followed by a tour with American rock band The Pixies and concerts in Europe and Iceland.
