This channel is dedicated to highlighting music from the past which deserves to be remembered and encouraging young and old to rediscover these valuable treasures. There will be different levesl of expertise and quality of recordings - that hopefully capture the spirit and feeling of popular music of a previous age. This channel is inspired by the Old-Time Music Preservation Association which has sponsored the World Championship Old-time Piano Playing Contest and Festival for the last 41 years - most recently in Peoria, IL. The Board of Directors for this organization serves without pay or any financial compensation. All tax deductible gifts directly support the Contest of youth and adult contestants.
