Grizel is a Latinx backpacker and outdoor enthusiast who is deeply in love with facing her fears and embracing wildness. With a professional history in mental health therapy, nothing excites her more than assisting people from diverse backgrounds to connect with Mother Nature through imagery, photography, and writing.
Over the last few years, Grizel has hiked long and short trails, from the Pacific Crest Trail to the the High Sierra Trail, and the Tour De Mont Blanc. This year, she completed the Appalachian Trail, finishing 50th, while documenting her entire adventure via vlog, thanks to a partnership with REI.
She is currently living a nomadic lifestyle in her self-converted campervan alongside her partner and pup, and can often be found dancing to merengue in their tiny kitchen or silently watching the sunset with a spirit of abundant gratitude.
