Hey y’all!💚I’m a southern gardener in the Deep South just northwest of Atlanta, GA zone 8a formerly zone 7b but I’ve gardened and grown plants all over the country. Here at The Real Southern Garden we will help you pick the best heat, pest and disease resistant plants that can deal with the South and design a landscape that’s beautiful and oh so southern while we do it! My love for gardening started around the age of four and I’ve been growing things ever since. Old garden roses and gorgeous ornamentals are my passion but growing food and herbs are an important part of my landscape too. I love visiting historical gardens with heirloom plants and visiting botanical gardens and fellow gardeners home gardens as well.
