Unraveling Adoption is a safe space to delve into adoption's complexities together. It's a weekly podcast hosted by Beth Syverson, an adoptive mom of a 19yo son Joey who has struggled with addiction and mental health issues for the last several years. Beth is walking beside him as he struggles with his recovery journey while she works on her own personal growth and healing. They are aware that Joey's relinquishment trauma is a core issue for him.

They created Safe Home Podcast in August 2021, which became Unraveling Adoption in January 2023, in order to help other families understand adoption trauma, addiction, and mental health issues, and to destigmatize all of the above.
