I am an artist, and a recent cancer survivor. I am now a wheelchair user as well. Although I am working hard to get out of the wheelchair, I still cannot walk well. So when I am in bed, and I have a lot on my mind, I weave.
As the weft dances through the warp strings, I do a lot of praying and thinking. I'm able to think clearly about a lot of hard truths, and also dream of joyful infinite possibilities as I heal.
