About

In 2006 I underwent major bowel surgery. My large colon was removed and as a result I had to wear a bag. Although well prepared and supported for this operation once I got home I started to realise that there was a major problem; the major problem was not my body but my underwear!

To put it bluntly, I was not prepared to compromise my femininity for a lifetime of 'Bridget Jones' fuddy-duddy knickers. I may have lost my large intestine but I have not lost my sexiness. And this is why I took the positive step of establishing 'Vanilla Blush'. My philosophy is: "I am still 100% woman, 100% sensual and nobody can take that from me".

In this age of openness and self-expression why let the bag still be the last taboo?

It's not one sort of person who ends up with a bag, it's all sorts of persons - all backgrounds, all nationalities and all ages. With an increasing number of young people being affected it is essential that Vanilla Blush answer their needs.
