South Asian Arts Academy is a Hong Kong-based non-profit dedicated to promoting education and awareness of South Asian musical traditions among Hong Kong's youth through workshops, concerts and festivals. We also bring together artists from various genres such as symphony, jazz and Chinese traditional music to present a unique sound that highlights centuries-old South Asian musical idioms while keeping intact the authenticity and purity of tradition.

Our journey began in 2015 with eight talented vocalists joining Hong Kong's finest jazz musicians. In 2017, we presented In Harmony II, with vocal talents from India and Hong Kong and the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong. We raised the bar in 2019 with Raaga & Rhythm, where the CCOHK joined eight talented singers including an 11-year old child prodigy from India. Since 2020, SAA also hosts KALYANI - a one-of-its-kind annual festival dedicated to women in Indian arts which is now in its second year.
