My name is Ed. I am an author (and unsupervised wizard) who has been writing since 1965 and who has contributed to over 500 written works.
You probably know me as the original creator of The Forgotten Realms, which I started writing as a personal escape when I was just a lonely, nerdy kid. Since then, I have worked to share this world and many others with those who have imagination and a lust for adventure!
The Forgotten Realms has become a wildly popular setting for Dungeons & Dragons and it has inspired countless novels, video games, comic books, films, television shows, and much more.
One of my dreams is to fully detail the entirety of The Forgotten Realms. It is one of the many reasons my love for writing has never dulled and I continue to work hard today.
This channel focuses on exclusive untold lore, as well as TTRPGs and the creatives in the space.
