Camping has always been one of those things we knew we wanted to do. It’s the best way to connect with nature, slow down, and experience the world in a way that’s hard to replicate. For us, the idea of being out in the wilderness—away from the hustle and bustle—was incredibly appealing. We were ready to embrace nature, but little did we know that it would take us on a journey of discovering what kind of campers we were.
From our early days with a ground tent to the ease of rooftop tent camping, our journey has been about making the most of the time we have now while looking forward to the adventures that await. Camping has taught us the importance of slowing down, enjoying the present, and appreciating the simple moments.
We can’t wait to see where the road takes us next—both on our local camping trips and on the greater adventures that retirement promises. For now, we’ll keep camping on the weekends and dreaming of the bigger trips ahead.
