The NC Department of Public Safety is North Carolina's statewide public safety and homeland security agency.
It is home to the State Highway Patrol, NC National Guard, North Carolina Emergency Management, Samarcand Training Academy, Alcohol Law Enforcement, State Capitol Police, Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention as well as other law enforcement agencies.
