Jokes aside. Chasing views on videos has been really bad for my mental health. I realize that I donāt really like making gaming videos. Not only do you have to be entertaining and charismatic but itās a whole process of āis my mic working? is my mic loud enough? Is my gameplay sound too loud? Am I being funny enough? Am I adding enough commentary? Talk more!ā And if the audio is messed up or Iām just not entertaining, guess who has to spend 8+ hours editing clip by clip to make sure the video is good enough? Me! Just for it to get maybe 300 views if Iām lucky. Just to get 115k views on a video I spent 10 minutes on. I was watching a Weekly Slap video and Schlatt basically said āif you donāt enjoy it now, youāre not going to enjoy it when it becomes a career.ā So Iām just going to post what I want and what I enjoy making. Thatās why youāve seen edits, Tweening animation, speedpaints, and other random stuff on here lately. Iām not saying I WONT make gaming videos. Just not as often (I wholeheartedly enjoyed recording the FNAF Help Wanted videos). If I gain an audience thatās cool. But Iām not really gonna focus on the numbers anymore.
Life is kicking me hard cuz Iām basically a young adult now? So many changes and adapting and learning. So please bare with me. Iām still working on the Only Tea animatic. Hoping that gains at least SOME traction. Iāll be really mad if it doesnāt cuz Iām pushing myself through it so much. I havenāt done animation (especially an animatic) in over a year so if itās bad well donāt say I didnāt warn you. Ok bye
