Seems my website is down again, server all looks good so no clue what is going on right now.
I'm going to try to fix it but I think at some point I may just host my site on my domain provider's servers instead of my own. I will keep backups myself of course :)

WTF my videos have AI generated video summaries in the descriptions now.
Why though? Well maybe it does something for my SEO haha

That's one way to deter customer repairs: make the product actually lethal to open up lmao. This is a Peavey Rage 158 amplifier.
Not sure what Peavey was snorting when they designed this, but I'm gonna remove it and put some shrink wrap on there proper. Oh and... remove the fuse from the friggin' PCB and put it in a proper holder!
Wat.

Will probably be a bit before I do actual electronics/DIY vids again, but do expect some music videos and live performance related stuff soon. I actually got quite a LOT of music that I need to finish and make a video of haha.
As for the DIY synth content: our vocalist wants me to build a custom ScienceOrgan for him, so yeah! That's definitely a video-worthy project :)

It is finally finished!
I added a microphone input, which can be blended between direct out and FX, and a volume control for the internal speaker, in the bottom there are two jack outputs for stereo out.
Time to record another album :)

Looking at the rhythm unit (Wilgamat 1) of the Elka Concorde 802. it is still a pile of PCB's in a box and I really want to turn it into a functional unit & put it back into the Concorde.
It will need some changes however, as the front panel controls are broken and there is no space for them anyways due to all the mods I did on the Concorde.
So thinking of replacing the two ROMs with two RAMs with an Arduino or Atmega32. The front panel controls will then be an LCD screen, three buttons and a tempo knob...? Something like that!

Something MONUMENTAL happened today!
For the first time since I was gifted this monstrosity, for the first time in those 2 years... It actually FULLY works! No Jank! Woah!
Love my Elka Concorde 802 tho.

Impromptu Elka fixing session in the studio and... I FINALLY FIXED THE SOLO SYNTH. Turns out the 4 transistors that supply power to the treble keyboard rods were... kinda tired. They did measure correctly (at least with the diode test) but when warm they just couldn't deliver the current required, causing the keyboard output to be around 5V instead of the required 10-12V.
Now I can actually record the thing I wanted to record XD
Video coming soon.

Editing an update video on my Korg Poly800 "MKIII". I lost the entire introduction bit due to a faulty SD card reader, but text on the demonstration footage works just as well! :)
Coming soon!
