In the 90s, Aunt Iraci showed me how to crochet and I was very curious wanting to learn. I had no needles and started doing it with wood skewers. After that, I bought my first needle and thread to practice, but something was missing. It was then that I bought a magazine and started to study points and techniques. Later, I saw some crochet dolls on the internet causing controversy and that caught my attention. That's when my love for crochet grew! With internet, I got a lot of information to make Amigurumi! I started with the basics, practicing a crochet ball. I learned to read tables, graphs and interpret acronyms. I made my first Amigurumi and repeated the same pattern many times until I got the practice and skill. It was a great practice and today I am in love with Amigurumi. When you're more familiar, I guarantee you will be hooked. Your first Amigurumi may not be perfect, but there is always room for improvement in the future.
A strong hug!
