TRILLME International Girls' Choir Festival is the unique event of this kind in Europe. It is held in September in PoznaĆ - the capital of Wielkopolska in Poland every two years. The initiator and host of the festival is one of the most distinguished girls' choirs in Europe - SKOWRONKI Girls' Choir, directed by Alicja Szeluga and based at Zamek Culture Centre in PoznaĆ.
PoznaĆ, called a city of choirs, is recognised in Poland as well as abroad as the greatest Polish choral centre. During the festival it is become a musical meeting place for girls aged 12 to 19 from different parts of the world. The beauty of the girl's voice together with its subtle sound fills concert halls of Zamek Culture Centre and other unusual venues around Wielkopolska.
Music from the participants' native countries is mostly heard throughout the festival. Concerts provide the choirs with an opportunity to present the richness of their countries.
