(I’m Travis, a software engineer and filmmaker. As a huge Interstellar and Nolan fan, I’ve developed a deep fascination with AI. Like many, I’ve dreamed of bringing a real-life TARS into existence. I stumbled upon this brilliantly designed 3D model one day, originally created by Charlie Diaz, who also came up with the ingenious movement kinematics.(File link in bio) Huge props to Charlie! I knew instantly that I wanted to try to breathe life into it with generative AI. I’ve been working on this on and off for quite some time now. I’ve made some modifications to the original 3D model for my application and have iterated through all of the GPT model releases from OpenAI as time went on. I’m excited to see what GPTARS can do with the latest 4o model and to show you all what GPTARS is capable of thanks to AI.)
