I started with the aim of gathering my opinion of good music into the one place, but also spread that out to show what a lot of Perth bands sound like as well as uploading a few vids of touring bands and some music videos that I either love or aren't common.
There's a lot of punk and Australian alternative/indie stuff. I want to work some comedy in there too. So many good stand-up comedians around now.
For those wondering, there's no money in it for me from YouTube. I don't hold the copyright to anybody's songs. Copyright holders can gain some kind of royalty from ad revenue on pages that feature their songs, but I don't know if it would be enough to be worthwhile.
If a band wants their vid pulled, they can let me know. Same if they want more footage from the night.
