Hi, I'm Melissa and I am new to being a content creator.

I grew up in the Lower 48 (continental US states) and have lived in Alaska for many years. I first traveled here when I was sixteen and fell in love with the people, scenery, and pristine water. As they say, "I wasn't born here, but I got here as fast as I could." :)

I love YouTube & have always wanted to make my own videos. It took me a while to overcome barriers like not having a good video camera. I thought I needed to be an expert editor and have an exciting life. I was finally brave & created my first video. I learned, I am the main obstacle in my way.

I create videos to share the beauty of Alaska which includes mountains, lakes, rivers, salmon, moose, bears & towns. I will add videos about life & travel in Alaska along with crafts & activities which help me stay sane in the cold, dark winters. I love Alaska & hope you enjoy.
