The Bishop Hill Heritage Association is a private non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the Bishop Hill Colony, a Swedish religious communal colony from 1846 to 1861. Today Bishop Hill is an Illinois State Historic Site and a National Landmark. Our videos are about Bishop Hill past and present, our Swedish heritage, and our rural roots.
