The Black & White Skins was first an international collective of artists with musicians, visual artists, filmmakers and writers, sharing a common view/the free idea of a artistic expression.
The first production was the eponym compilation, The Black & White Skins Vol.1, realised and produced by the founding member, Spleen, including, in particular, Cocorosie, Bat for Lashes, Hindi Zahra or Devendra Banhart.
Now became a « real » record label, The Black & White Skins started production and development of artists with a unique approach, in a fresh and modern way, while defending an alternative of what is currently being done.
