The Zayed Sustainability Prize is an annual award, established by the United Arab Emirates leadership to recognise and award excellence in renewable energy and sustainability. Launched in 2008, the Prize represents the vision of the late founding father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who championed social, economic and environmental sustainability.
The Zayed Sustainability Prize rewards pioneering innovators and visionaries whose achievements have furthered the proliferation of renewable energy solutions. Entries are accepted across five categories: Health, Food, Energy, Water, and Global High Schools.
