Director of Intellectual Formation @ the St. Augustine Center in Moscow, ID, PhD in history from Mississippi State University, he teaches and has taught at universities in the PNW & Midwest. Author of 'Thermonuclear Mirth,' 'The Hippo Lectures,' the Civil War history 'Catholic Confederates,' 'The Holdout,' & 'Seraphim and the Dust Plague.' He played baseball in college, professionally in Europe--for the Ostrava Arrows of the Czech Extraleague & the Namur Angels of the Belgian 1st Division--and for the Polish National Team.
