Ever since I was little my mom would plop some henna on my hands and say it was the sun. As I grew older I decided to give it try so I could try out designs that weren't "suns". Eventually I ended up being the one who applied henna to my sisters and mom for EID. Once in college I realized that more and more actress's and models were starting to wear henna. I saw that this was becoming more mainstream and I loved it! I started the business with the intention to make henna more available for everyone! I wanted to take this beautiful ancient tradition and put a modern spin on it by doing it in places that aren't considered traditional, like the legs or back area. It's such a beautiful art form in that it should be shared among everyone. I hope this comes out in the designs I post, and I hope it motivates you to pick up a henna cone and give it go, just have fun with it!
Sincerely,
Anjum (aka Ayyari)
