We accept micro transactions as part of Rise of Kingdoms. You can play for free with a degree of success - as I've tried to show - but, of course, money = additional strength and success.
This, however, is a bizarre development. Selling the ability to pin a comment in Kingdom or Lost Kingdom Chat???
Presumably it's going to be used for controversial postings...which will then be reported, which Lilith will then be obliged to remove. Which will lead to the original poster asking why they are paying for a Pinned comment that's been removed.
I love ROK and I have no issue with the pay to win element. But this is a new feature I think is horrible in so many ways.

What are everyone's thoughts on AOE Mobile? I gave it a go today and it looked like a nicely polished version of RoK
I was a little disappointed at just how rigidly they stuck to the City Building formula though; I felt that there was an opportunity to do something a little different - a more integrated experience with Classic AOE gameplay.

I'm sure I'm not alone in noticing that Lilith sneakily nerfed the barb chaining method?
Barbs run away further than ever; more often than not in a different direction.
I didn't see that in the #riseofkingdoms patch notes....
