I've been tutoring for a few decades, with various teaching gigs in computer programming thrown in too. I mainly tutor pre-K to grade 8 but also do high school Regents, SAT/PSAT, etc.. I mainly focus on NY and NJ state testing, and Specialized HS testing (SHSAT, TACHS, Hunter, BCA, etc). I focus on crawling into students' brains and that helps to personalize things as we cover material. I'm also big on strategy, techniques and insights in addition to actual subject material.
