Born and raised in Ashkelon, Israel.
Lir began her interest in music at an early age. When she was 4 years old, attending a family wedding, she was fascinated with the saxophone player and refused to go home. The next day she had found a toy recorder and intuitively began to play all her favorite Disney songs. In 2012 Lir had digitally released an EP titled âDirectorâs Cutâ.
Later that year, she moved to the UK to pursue her art. She played in many venues such as âO2 Academy Islingtonâ, âThe Water Ratsâ, âBrixton Jammâ and various radio stations across the UK. Alongside her partner, Sir. O, she co-founded GoPro Sessions, which was praised by Go Pro, band A-ha, and was also featured on the American magazine 'Acoustic Guitar'. Her debut single, âFlowerâ, was played on many radio stations including BBC Wales on Frank Hennesseyâs show: âWhen I first heard it I thought I was in heaven!â. âCherry Blossom Girlâ, her second single, was praised by JB Dunckel (Air), the original songwriter.
