B C Manjunath, born in 1976, is a talented young artiste who has many achievements in the sphere of music. His father Karnataka Kalasree Vidwan B K Chandramouli is a veteran Mridanga Artiste and has traveled worldwide. Manjunath learnt Mridanga under Karnataka Kalasree K N Krishna Murthy and Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr T.K.Murthy. Manjunath is an 'A' grade artiste at All India Radio and Doordarshan. He was conferred the title of ASTHANA VIDWAN from HIS HOLINESSSRI KANCHI KAMAKOTI PEETADHIPATHI JAGADGURU SRI SANKARACHARYA SWAMIGAL SRIMATAM SAMSTHANAM IN 2012.
