Persian Pelican plays genetically modified folk. He's in love with Douglas Sirk movies and his lyrics reflect this. The italian one man band released his debut album, 'These cats wear skirts to expiate original sin', in January 2009, then he moved to Barcelona for two years playing in a lot of clubs with other catalan musicians. The second lp 'How to prevent a cold', was composed there and recorded in Italy, Rome, during the beginning of 2012. Acoustic environments, electric textures, whispered and violent lyrics about everyday life perversions in human's relations belong to this album that reminds us that sometimes love is colder than death.
