Dale Jones, the first one-handed juggler in history, invented a way to even the playing field with regular two-handers. He did it through sheer determination and perseverance.
Jones writes a very motivational book, taking you from his accident, at age 8, which made him an instant lefty, through 25 operations by age 16 in the first few chapters. At that point, his very unusual life changed again.
See, Jones found juggling right after the surgeries ended, and fell in love with it. He read everything he could and combined known juggling techniques with his own innovation to figure out the Bounce-Multiplex Juggling System. This system allowed him to succeed in a formally only two-handed profession.
In fact, this genius technique helped Jones eventually become one of the top jugglers in the world. He writes about both the journey to get there and then the motivational traits that helped him succeed.
It's a funny and entertaining read, as well.
