Simona Weiss (1963-2015) began her career in Music in the mid-'80s as a young Yugoslavian singer, she was part of numerous Music festivals. She was awarded as the best singer in Mesam 1989 and won second prize in Makfest 1991. In the 90's she was a leading Slovenian female vocal artist. She published 20 albums with over 200 songs recorded. Numerous hit songs, music duets with relevant regional stars, 15 golden records and over 500.000 sold CD's are trademarks of her remarkable music career. The audience admired her and gave her the nickname Queen of people's hearts. Her last album “Računam nate” was published in 2003.
She was a founder of Megaton Records one of the leading music publishers in Slovenia. She wrote all her lyrics and With her husband, composer Goran was a leading music team in the '90s.
