Stereoscopic 3D has many advantages in filmmaking and storytelling! Apart from leaping images off the screen, it can add a new level of intimacy with your characters and the audience. We perceive the world in three dimensions, and read people's faces and emotions in the same way. Plus, 3D allows for all the details, the set dressing, the costume designs, ect, to really pop. It allows for everything to get a moment to shine, and you will never have to worry about anything in your shot getting lost in the fold. Keep your depth low for quiet moments, or dial it up to 11 during intense moments to really pack a punch! Don't just show your audience your story, invite them to become apart of it. Turn the flat screen into a window into another world.
