LauraHi there, my name is Laura and welcome to my channel!
I've been a railway modeller for around 30 years, since I was at school, which came from me replicating the real railway I saw while I was still a trainspotter.
I have more that 25 years of modelling experience, and have written 4 articles for Rail Express magazine.
I jokingly call myself a 'circumcision' modeller... with a mindset of; "You go 'all the way', or you don't bother!"
I do repaints, detailing and conversions, and I'm going to build a new DCC layout with route control, (via a computer) for my highly detailed models to run on!
The layout will initially be based on the ECML around Leeds, but I have models for WCML too, so can swap stock and location for a different scene!
I'm a born researcher and am happy to help others, with my goal for this channel to pass on skills I've learned, to inspire other modellers.
