In the summer of 2024, right around the same time, my wife was diagnosed with stage four Breast Cancer as i was diagnosed with stage four kidney disease. I had just retired from 20 years as a security officer with Chicago Public Schools and started another security job. She was really sick and in the hospital for weeks at a time, and I needed dialasys and a new kidney. So, i drew out all of my 401k money, and quit my job to help nurse her back to health. We both got into a great hospital and within six weks or so we both started feeling pretty good. Being home has given us time to enjoy each other and given me time to study guitar and grow as a musician. These videos chronicle my growth, as well as my work in local Chicago bands through the years. I put them together for myself. just to see my advancement, but to my surprise, people actually watch them. That fills my heart with joy. Meeting other musicians on here has been wonderful. Keep on jamming, and i will do the same!
