Hello I am a University of Sydney graduate who has always been interested in China. During my Bachelor of Arts degree (majoring in French/minor in History) I took Chinese history and language classes. After graduation and an Internship at the Australian National Maritime Museum I decided to continue my linguistic, cultural and historical learning by moving to Beijing as an English teacher.

Although spending most days in the classroom I have continued to transmit history and culture to an audience through starting a YouTube channel on everything Chinese – with educational and entertaining videos.

On a more profound level I aim to be a link between Australia and China – to promote cultural harmony and understanding between these two countries. China is Australia’s biggest trading partner and there is a large population of Chinese in Australia – we’re in for a very connected future!
