ABOUT SH. DEBASISH ADHIKARY
Shri Debasish Adhikary was born in a musical family from where he could explore the world of music, and a child prodigy who started playing the Tabla at the age of 6. Debasish’s teacher was his father Pdt Anandamohan Adhikary, a senior disciple of Ustad Karamat Ullah Khan of Farukhabad Gharana. Later he obtained training from Ustad Sabir Khan, son of Ustad Karamat Ullah Khan with great devotion & sincerity.
Debasish is a brilliant light of the world of Tabla. As a performer, he creates an experience for his audience that, ranges from the introspective to resounding. A performer par excellence.
