This YouTube channel features Computer-Generated Kinetic String Art videos.
Each frame of each video was drawn separately with a String Art Generator macro that I created in Microsoft Excel. This macro allows me to specify x,y equation sets that define various shapes, such as circles, lines, triangles, spokes from the center of a circle, petals from the center of a circle, etc. I am able to produce individual string art frames using these shapes by specify sets of points on the shapes and telling the macro to draw lines between them. By varying equation parameters between each frame, I am able to cause the shapes to morph, pulling the points and lines with them. This produces Kinetic String Art when the individual frames are combined into a video.
Note that some of the videos I have posted show one frame of a longer video being drawn by my String Art Generator macro.
