Hey all! I’m 25 today! Here’s a pic from my recent vacation back in August. It’s been a while folks. Life has been far from easy these last few months. Things aren’t going too well at the moment, but I can assure you all I will be fine in the long run. I’ve got a nice stash of videos that need to be edited. See you all soon!

Hey all! It's been a long last three months here in Milton. My full-time job has been more than I can handle combined with my current mental health situation. Nonetheless, the show must go on.

Since my last upload in April, I have only recorded one siren test video. It was a flop for the most part. I will still get around the uploading the video although it's drone-only with lots of traffic noise and deteriorating weather conditions. In the EAS world, next to nothing has come up. Weekly tests that I really haven't recorded at all.

Now for an announcement! I will be recording a siren test tomorrow with a new upcoming siren enthusiast who I've known since elementary school. We will be going to a Modulator 8032-B by High Cedars Golf Course in Orting. Stay tuned for that!

Prepare yourselves for an uploading spree of EAS alerts followed by a couple siren videos! I'm on vacation this week, so I'll have plenty of spare time to get uploads out. Yesterday I had another successful Pierce County lahar siren test, and tomorrow I'll be attending the annual siren test for the Cushman Hydroelectric Project along with another local enthusiast who you've all seen before. This is shaping up to be a fun week at MWT99 headquarters!

Ten years ago today, I recorded a series of EAS alerts for the infamous Oso landslide in Snohomish County. The alerts weren’t warranted for the slide itself as it sadly came with no warning. The biggest concern was flash flooding downstream. In total, four alerts would be relayed. I caught 3/4 of them that day. Starting with a Flood Warning, then being upgraded to a Flash Flood Watch (missed). As the evening progressed, an extremely rare Local Area Emergency was relayed over KSEW’s ENDEC to WWG24 and KHB60. Lastly, another extremely rare alert, an Immediate Evacuation, would be transmitted in the same manner. Luckily, the worst-case scenario never happened. The Stillaguamish River had carved a path through the slide without releasing the mud dam. 3/22/14 was a wild day that I will never forget. #OsoStrong

I recorded my first successful siren test of 2024 today! January suffered an SFU (siren failure unit) related to PCDEM laying an egg on their schedule on New Year’s Day. That test was cancelled for the sole reason that no one was in the building to set the sirens off. 😂

February was a work month. I worked every Monday including the day of the monthly test. No siren was recorded as a result.

Stay tuned for me to continue unloading my backlog of EAS alerts and this upcoming siren video to the channel. I’ve been having a rough start to the year so far, as shown by the lack of activity. Sorry everyone! Thanks for hanging around as usual!

Wowza! I must’ve gotten eight new subscribers today and counting! I’m not sure where the huge burst of subscribers came from to start off the new year, but thanks to you all for hopping onto the MWT99 train. Only SIX subscribers away from 1K! Can we get to 1K by the end of the week? Video uploads will begin in the coming days. My backlog is assembled and ready to be edited.

Thanks everyone!!! 🥳🥳

Happy New Year's Eve from MWT99 Productions! This channel has seen a huge growth in subscribers and watch time throughout 2023. Going pedal-to-the-metal with siren videos, and moving categories not relating to sirens and EAS to other channels were perhaps two of the best decisions I've made with this channel by far. The videos are only going to get better in 2024. I plan on checking out various siren sites in Western Washington that haven't been documented before. When it comes to EAS, I hope to have a slightly different radio setup so I can spice things up a bit. I've had my current radio setup since early 2018, so it's a bit dated.

Those of you who have read this far, thanks for keeping a close eye on this channel's progress! My other channels will see a huge increase in attention once I start allocating a fair amount of time to each. Go ahead and subscribe to ‪@MWT99Vlogs‬, ‪@PugetSoundStormWatch‬, and ‪@SoundstormTranceRadio‬ if you haven't already. Let's get this new year started right!

Happy Thanksgiving from MiltonWATech99 Productions! I’ve been holding off on uploads until after the Thanksgiving holiday because I haven’t had a day off since early last week. In my short amount of downtime between shifts, I’ve been doing loads of yard work and general housekeeping to prepare for Christmas decorating. My plan is to upload to all four channels by the end of the month. You can find my other channels at ‪@MWT99Vlogs‬, ‪@PugetSoundStormWatch‬ , and ‪@SoundstormTranceRadio‬. 58 more subscribers until 1K!!
