Justice Nariman is a Graduate in Commerce from the renowned Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) College, Delhi University. He then read Law at the Campus Law Centre (CLC), Delhi University (Ranked Second in his batch) & LL.M from the prestigious Harvard Law School

He was elevated to the Supreme Court of India in July 2014 & retired in August 2021 after a distinguished tenure. He had served as the Solicitor General of India prior to his elevation

At the age of 37, he was one of the youngest ever counsels to be designated as a Senior Advocate (equivalent to a Queen’s Counsel) by the Supreme Court of India

He has to his credit a versatile & voluminous body of work:
500 Reported SC Judgments as an Advocate; Author of 360 judgments laying down the law in Constitutional, Commercial & Criminal matters; Recognised as one of 5 ‘World Heroes’ by “Access Now”; An Ordained Parsi Priest; And delivered lectures on large array of topics pertaining to Law, Religion, History, Literature and Music
